Peer review process
Responsibility of the Editor
Papers are evaluated through an external double-bind peer-review system. Once the evaluation results have been received, the decision to accept or reject the manuscript lies with the Editorial Committee, which will notify the authors accordingly the evaluation and publication processes will be completed over a period of six months. The Editorial Committee reserves the right to reject papers that do not meet the expected quality standards or do not comply with the Editorial Guidelines/Policies.
Peer review process
All manuscripts received are reviewed by the Editorial Committee and only those articles that meet the proper scientific and editorial standards of Intersecciones en Comunicación are evaluated / under the double-blind peer review system. At least two academics will evaluate each article and determine whether a) to accept it and publish it, b) to revise it, rework it and accept it, or c) to reject it because it does not meet such standards. If they have different opinions, a third evaluator will be contacted. The estimated time period from submission to publication is of 24 weeks/ The estimated period of the review and publication process is approximately 24 weeks from the date of submission.
